Changzhou, China, November 6th, 2009 - Changzhou Special Transformer Co., Ltd (CST) today announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with Supreme & Co. Pvt. Limited (Supreme). Under this agreement, CST will manufacture distribution transformers with voltage ratings of 33 KV and below for Supreme to market and distribute in new international markets. This strategic partnership will expand CST's customer base while also supplementing Supreme's existing product range of power equipment accessories and power transmission supplies.
Shanghai based investment bank E. J. McKay & Co., Inc., advised CST in the transaction. "While the global financial crisis has dampened equity flows between India and China, business flows between the two countries remain strong.
