E. J. McKay’s Chairman and CEO James Li spoke on the 4th Global Alumni Forum of Bocconi University in Shanghai, China

Shanghai, March 14th, 2016 –Bocconi University recently held the 4th Global Alumni Forum in Shanghai. The forum discussed the topic “Silk Road – Connect Asia and Europe” to explore opportunities of economy and finance on the Modern Silk Road. The attendants are Principal Mario Monti and Dean Andrea Sironi from Bocconi University, Chairman of Global Alumni Richardo Monti, CEO of Gucci Group Marco Bizzarri, Italian ambassador in China Ettore Sequi, Chairman of CHEMCHINA Ren Jianxin and others guests.

Chairman and CEO of E. J. McKay James Li, Head of Origination for Europe/Middle-East/Africa at CITIC Securities Federico Bazzoni, and CEO of Fineurop Soditic SpA Eugenio Morpurgo attend the first speech, discussed the trend of finance between Asia and Europe, including (1) more European companies are acquired by Chinese and Asian investors, and (2) European companies are seeking IPO in Asian capital markets. Both Asian and European companies are eager to expand through M&A to enter oversea markets and enhance competitive.

Other guests also speak on topics “Technology Innovation”, “Different management strategy between Europe and Asia” and “Political and Economic Environment”. The forum ended by a dialogue between Principal of Bocconi University and Dean of Shanghai Institute for International Studies.

Global Alumni Forum of Bocconi University will choose one host city in Asia/Europe/America to hold once per year. The previous host cities are Singapore, New York and London.
